As time continues to fly by and the autumn season rolls through, I wanted to give a brief update and hold a small giveaway as a thank you for all the support I’ve gotten thus far. I know it’s been a bit of time since I’ve posted a video, so here it goes.
For those of you who like to read over watching videos, here’s a quick synopsis:
I’ve received the chance to align my passions with my work and have changed to new role in my company, driving sustainable packaging initiatives within the supply chain. I’m absolutely thrilled! Who would’ve thought I could transform my background in packaging for an actual job?
However, with new chapters come transitioning and having to learn plenty of new things on the job. As I’m adjusting, I am finding that I have less time to work on this blog but will do my best to update you all whenever I can, and hopefully will be able to readjust myself to dedicate a healthy commitment to my blog work and corporate work (:
Second, I’ll be speaking at the Green Festival in San Francisco on Saturday November 12th, from 11:30 – 12:30 PM at the Lifestyle Pavillion. I’m coordinating some little zero waste goody bags and would love to meet you there! You can get into the show for 20% off on tickets using the code: GFSFX116 on their website here, and also find the event guide there.
Third, giveaway time (in celebration of already hitting 1.4K subscribers on YouTube. What a blessing!). I have an extra set of refillable whiteboard markers from the company Auspen. I’ve been loving using these at work and for grocery shopping as a more conscious alternative to the traditional plastic whiteboard marker. If you’re interested in receiving three of your own Auspen markers, check out the Instagram post here, and like and comment on the picture for your chance to be selected as a winner. Pretty simple right? You’ll have until November 10th to do so.
And of course, here’s today’s video for those who prefer human interaction via motion picture:
Thank you for being such a positive and great community. It’s great to see the steady growth of the zero waste movement, and I cannot wait to help you guys more in the future with living more simply and sustainably (: Comment below with any questions, comments, and suggestions, and I’ll be sure to get to them when I can!
